I had some leftover Coffee Cotton from making Arunima Goel's Shine like a diamond cowl

and the Brie brioche beanie by Emma Zobel. I decided to make another beanie, using 2 Tunisian crochet techniques I have learnt: working with a double-ended hook, using different colours for the FP and RP and working in the round, as well as making a Tunisian circle for the crown which I learnt from following a YT video by Michael Sellick of The Crochet Crowd. Whilst Mikey chose a variegated yarn to demonstrate the technique,

I decided to alternate the pie colours, creating an interesting detail on the crown. I was very chuffed (pleased) with the result especially considering it was a beanie of my own design.

Slowly but surely I am upping my Tunisian skills and really enjoying the journey, It has been wonderful to see how versatile Tunisian crochet actually is and is worth investigating.
